6al4V (grade 5/ TA6V) is an alpha-beta Titanium alloy which can be heat treated for a moderate improvement in its resistance. It offers a combination of lightness, high mechanical strength, formability and corrosion resistance making it very attractive for many applications in the aerospace, motorsports and medical fields.
